On 5 May 2022, an exhibition “The feat of the people is eternal and glorious” opened in the exhibition area of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization. In Russia, people celebrate annually the national holiday – Victory Day held to commemorate a victorious end of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The exhibition is devoted to the 77th anniversary of Victory over fascism. Its main theme is memory. The history of the feat of Soviet people is transmitted through letters, documents, photos, family memories, personal belongings. The exhibition includes photo material and information about the participants of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 – our compatriots born in Spassky district.
More than 11 000 people received the titles of Hero of the Soviet Union for heroic deeds in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Our compatriots are among them: A. I. Bashkirov, A. M. Berkutov, F. I. Galkin, P. Ya. Gurianov, N. I. Zotov, P. A. Karpov, P. T. Lihachyov and others. The guests of the exhibition could see soldiers’ uniform, field tunic, field cap, soldiers’ belts, waterproof cape, tarpaulin boots, soldiers’ pots, flasks, letters and photos. More than 60 people from different cities visited the exhibition.
The exhibition will last until May 31, 2022.
