On 2 May 2022, the first in this season ship “Timiryazev” of travel company “White swan” from Moscow came to the tourist port of Bolgar Museum-Reserve. 200 people rested on board of the vessel. On land, tourists were met in the best traditions of Great Bolgar: Bolgar Khan and Khanbike welcomed the guests and treated them with a traditional dish “chak-chak”. Then tourists had a tour of major sights of Bolgar: the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization, the Museum of Koran, medieval architectural monuments, the complex “White mosque” and the natural-historical complex “Gabdrakhman’s well”. An interactive program with a master class “Bal-mai” was organized for tourists in the new season. On that day, travelers from Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, Yaroslavl and other cities became acquainted with the history of the state Volga Bulgaria, heard interesting legends and knew historical facts.
We hope that the tourist season 2022 will be successful for us, and our visitors will learn many interesting, unusual things and get a lot of positive emotions from visiting our museum-reserve.
