On 27 April 2022, a staff member of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Rogachyova M. N. held a lecture on “We are proud of our compatriots – heroes of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945” for the students of the 5th grade of Bolgar comprehensive school №1.
At the lecture, kids remembered the veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 who was born in Spassky district and had the titles of the Heroes of the Soviet Union. Children knew a lot of new information about their compatriots: who returned alive, who died in battles protecting their Motherland and remained the soldiers of that war forever. The presentation helped schoolchildren to see the photos-portraits of the fellow countrymen and their awards.
At the end, the participants answered the questions of a quiz, told about their grandfathers, great grandfathers and their military life and feats. In memory of the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, kids received Saint George ribbons with which they will go to the meeting on Victory Day – on 9 May.
