On April 26, 2022, the results of the All-Russian contest of recitations “Tukay. Bolgar” were summed up in Bolgar Museum-Reserve. The event was devoted to the 136th anniversary of a great Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay. For the purpose of preservation and development of native languages, culture and traditions of the people, Bolgar Museum-Reserve together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan held the All-Russian contest of recitations from March 15 to April 25, 2022. 986 students from 513 educational organizations in 44 regions of Russia took part in it. The moderator of the contest was the head of the department “Museum Street” Sagirova G. Yu.
G. Tukay entered the history of Tatar literature as a great poet who laid the foundation of the national poetry and created its classical style.
