It became World Aviation and Space Day. In 2011, this day became also the International Day of Human Space Flight at the initiative of the UN General Assembly.
During the event, the students learned about the history of emergence of the holiday. They heard the names of famous scientists and cosmonauts who made invaluable contributions to the development of space. Kids actively participated in a quiz answering the questions and sharing their knowledge about space.
