On 31 March 2022, staff members of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Galimullina N. R. and Glavnova V. N. held an interactive event on “In the footsteps of our ancestors” for the children of Bolgar kindergarten “Teremok”.
A bright presentation helped kids to take a virtual tour of Bolgar Museum-Reserve, to become familiar with our museums and architectural monuments telling about the history of the native land. Children became acquainted with ancient Bolgar items (with their copies): a pot, an inkpot, a spherocone, whistles, draughts, jewelry, a wax tablet and a metal steel. Kids with pleasure participated in games “Identify a monument by its silhouette”, “Hunter”, did puzzles “Ancient vessels”, made models of monuments “Black chamber” and “Eastern mausoleum” of wooden details, with great interest played an old checkers game “A wolf and sheep”.
The event helped children to plunge into the past and to feel a given period. The participants received plenty of emotions and a good mood.
