On 21 March 2022, a staff member of the department “Museum Street” of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sagirova L. Sh. together with a teacher of the kindergarten “Antoshka” Sabirova A. I. held an interactive event on “Nowruz Mubarakbad!”
Nowruz is a holiday of spring, renovation of nature, beginning of new year and new life. It is marked on 22 March, on the day of spring equinox. Nowruz is a very symbolic holiday. Many traditions and customs are linked to it. On the eve of the holiday, people cleared out their houses, who were in a quarrel – they made up. With the coming of Nowruz, luck and well-being come, failure and diseases go away. That’s why on that day everybody tried to be kind, expressed the best wishes, sang, danced and held different games and competitions.
Children prepared music and dance performances, played active games and at the end of the event, they received gifts from Bolgar Museum-Reserve.
