On 22 February 2022, a staff member of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Salimova G. I. held an event on “Native language is the soul of a nation” for the students of the 3rd grade of Bolgar comprehensive school №1. The event was devoted to International Mother Language Day.
To save your native language is a very important task of modern society. There are two state languages in our republic – Tatar and Russian, and both are in need of protection. To date, there are many problems relating to the preservation of the purity and beauty of language.
Language is a whole world full of charm, attraction and magic. It is a living memory of a nation, its soul, its heritage and the greatest wealth.
At the event, kids had an in-depth conversation about the traditions and customs of Tatarstan, about the capital of our homeland – Kazan and native languages. Children became familiar with the map of Russia, with great pleasure played riddles about books and the Homeland, read poetry about native languages and watched a presentation, which helped to make the lesson more interesting and informative.
