UNESCO decided to observe 21 February as International Mother Language Day. In the framework of the holiday, from 22 January to 20 February 2022, the head of the department “Museum Street” of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sagirova G. Yu. together with the Ministry of Education and Science of RT held in remote form the II all-Russian readers’ competition “We speak different languages but communicate in the language of friendship”.
548 students of 127 educational institutions from 27 regions of Russia took part in the competition. The students of the 4th-7th and the 8th-11th grades presented their creative works remotely in the form of a video. Among the most active territories-participants, there are the Samara, Kurgan, Penza, Ulyanovsk, Tyumen, Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk, Omsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Ivanovo, Kirov, Orenburg, Oryol and Moscow oblasts, the Stavropol and Perm Territories, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Chuvash Republic, the Udmurt Republic, Mordovia and Mari El.
Jury and organizing committee of the contest chose the winners in each age group.
Among grades 4-7:
1st place – Vahitov Bulat, Aizatullova Aisylu, the 4th grade, the Chuvash Republic, Batyrevsky district, Tataro-Sugutskaya comprehensive school.
2nd place – Fazulianov Timur, the 4th grade, the Irkutsk oblast, Osinsky district, Kahinskaya comprehensive school named after I. A. Batudayev.
3rd place – Drozdovskaya Natalia, the 7th grade, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Bolsheuluisky district, Yelginskaya school – a branch of Beryozovskaya comprehensive school.
Among grades 8-11:
1st place – Hairov Radmir, the 11th grade, the Astrakhan oblast, Tryohprotokskaya comprehensive school of Privolzhsky district.
2nd place – Shaimordanov Rais, the 8th grade, the Novosibirsk oblast, Kyshtovsky district, Kyshtovskaya comprehensive school №1.
2nd place – Yernyaeva Aliya, the 9th grade, the Saratov oblast, the city of Saratov, National (Tatar) gymnasium named after the Hero of the Soviet Union G. G. Ramayev.
3rd place – Sadykova Mariam, the 9th grade, the Orenburg oblast, Asekeyevsky district, Staromukmenevskaya school.
We thank curators, parents, support teams and, of course, all talented readers of the contest. All participants were awarded attendance certificates. The winners of the contest received diplomas of I, II, III degrees and certificates for attending Bolgar Museum-Reserve.
