On 21 June 2021, staff members of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sagirova L. Sh. and Safina I. I. held a retreat on “Bolgar welcomes guests” and a museum lesson on “A trip to Bolgar” for the children visiting a summer school camp of the comprehensive school of Baltasi and of Tatar gymnasium №1.
A bright presentation helped to tell kids about the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization, the Museum of Koran and architectural monuments of Bolgar hillfort. Children also became acquainted with the Museum Street where four museums are located. Staff members of the museum-reserve told about the life, culture and craftsmanship traditions of Volga Bulgars.
At the end of the event, kids with great pleasure painted souvenirs- figurines in the shape of a Bolgar padlock-dog and the architectural monument “The Small minaret”. Everybody received memorable gifts and had a lot of positive emotions.
