On 26 January 2022, a staff member of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Mukhamedov V. A. held an event on “The Captivating Star of Happiness”.
History of our native land is not only Volga Bulgaria and Kazan khanate, not only architectural monuments of XIII-XIV centuries but also more recent times of the period of Kazan governorate. Modern Spassky district was part of Spassky uyezd. Of course, the most active and famous people of the uyezd were noblemen. In fact, until the end of the 19th century, they were the main bearers of culture in the territory of the country. Many famous officers, generals and poets came out of the nobles.
During the event, the visitors of the museum “Nobility of Spassky uyezd” did not only acquaint themselves with the environment of the nobles’ estate but also knew the history of emergence and development of nobility, talked about the most famous noble families of Spassky uyezd and participated in games, which were popular among the nobles of XIX century.
