On 9 December 2021, staff members of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Hramova G. K. and Sagirova G. Yu. held an interactive-entertaining event on “Give the world your smile” devoted to the International Day of Disabled Persons. The event took place in the museum “Bolgar tea party”. The participants learned that this holiday is marked annually on 3 December as the reason to draw attention for addressing the critical problems of rehabilitation and social adaptation of persons with disabilities.
The guests of the museum became familiar with the museum exposition, learned how tea penetrated into the Volga region and knew about the traditions of Tatar national tea party. Games, competitions and a thematic quiz were held for the children. Then a woodcarver presented a master class in making a wooden picture and his own works. At the end of the event, there was a festive tea party. Everyone received memorable gifts and lots of positive emotions.
