On 29 October 2021, the presentation of the second volume of the fundamental publishing project – the illustrated catalogue “Objects of cultural heritage of the Republic of Tatarstan” took place in the conference hall of the “Memorial Sign in honor of adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgars in 922”. Its author is Aleksey Mikhailovich Tarunov. The publication was created using the grant of the Russian Cultural Foundation within the federal project “Creative people” of the national project “Culture”.
The first volume was established in 2020. It includes Kazan objects of cultural heritage. The second volume was signed in print in August 2021. It includes two books and tells about all 43 districts of Tatarstan. The project manager A. Tarunov told that the second part is devoted to architectural monuments and to history of our region. In the book, there are maps of the districts with marking the objects of cultural heritage. In the texts, there are facts from the history of the object and the description of its architecture. The illustrated material includes color photos made in 2015-2016 during the preparation of the edition, archival imagery of ancient monuments and people connected with them, plans of buildings and constructions.
Staff members of the museum-reserve attended the presentation. On behalf of the collective, Aleksey Tarunov received the letter of thanks for the organization and conducting the presentation of I and II volumes of the catalogue.
