On 11 August 2021, a staff member of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Salimova G. I. held for tourists an information event on “Archaeologist’s stories” devoted to Archaeologist’s day.
Archaeology gives us an opportunity to go far enough back. Now we can see in museums different household items preserved from ancient times and found by archaeologists. On that day, “the archaeologist initiation” is often held for those who take part in the expedition for the first time.
Hard work of archaeologists certainly deserves great respect and their own holiday. Their finds help historians to identify or reaffirm different events of history.
During the event, tourists became acquainted with the peculiarities of this profession and with interest listened to archaeologist’s story about his work with the presentation of finds.
