On 21 May 2021, a staff member of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Salimova G. I. held a video event “I speak Tatar”.
In the Republic of Tatarstan, 2021 was declared the Year of Native Languages and National Unity. We live in Tatarstan with our traditions and we can get information in two languages. From year to year, the action “I speak Tatar” develops, and this year it is held the 14th time. This event is a real holiday for Tatar people.
The main task addressed in implementing the program on the native (Tatar) language is to provide linguistic development of students and to help them to master speech activities.
The implementation of Tatar language in different public places is important for widening the range of human communication and for the development of students’ national identity.
