On 11 May 2021, a staff member of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Glavnova V. N. held a video event on “Memory and glory to the winners” devoted to the 76th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
Peoples of the Soviet Union in 1941-1945 stood up in mortal combat against the terrible enemy – Hitlerite Germany. Freedom and life of the USSR population depended on the outcome of this struggle. The war cost Soviet citizens multimillion losses. That is the reason why the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War is a key holiday of Russia and the post-Soviet space for many years.
Victory Day has not centuries-long history but it remains a holy holiday for descendants of those who defeated Nazi Germany. It is hard to find a man whose family was bypassed by the Great Patriotic War.
Blessed memory for the fallen, honor and glory for the winners! Eternal memory, sincere respect, immeasurable gratitude and a low bow to all warriors who defended our country and brought the desired victory!
During the video event, the audience knew about the feat of our people, about pride in our army and gratitude to veterans for our cloudless childhood, about careful attitude towards the memory of military events and the dead in the war for the freedom of our homeland.
