On 28 April 2021, staff members of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Galimullina N. R. and Salimova G. I. held a lecture with elements of interactive on “A gentle spring bouquet” for the students of Bolgar sanatorium-type residential school. The event was devoted to the 76th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
During the lecture, there was a conversation about the soldiers’ letters from the front. Front letters are invaluable evidences of the Great Patriotic War and our warriors’ persistence and courage. At the event, kids saw the examples of such front letters-triangles and became familiar with some fragments of soldiers’ letters. This helped them to imagine what our warriors-compatriots felt during those far dark days. Even in the worst situations, warriors had the strength to write touching letters to their families and relatives. Soldiers often sent in the letters dried wildflowers as a symbol of love.
At the end of the lecture, children decorated the ribbon of St. George with a bouquet of gentle forget-me-nots made of foamiran by their hands as a symbol of fidelity and memory of the feat of our soldiers.
