On 22 April 2021, a staff member of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Gaifutdinova O. A. held a lecture on “Hospitability of peoples of the Volga region” for the students of the 8th and 9th grades of Nikolskaya comprehensive school of Spassky district of RT.
Peoples of the Volga region were always famous for their hospitability. They had everything for it – the Volga River rich with the noblest fish, fertile soil and forests. Not coincidentally, the flow of tourists from different parts of Russia and the world continues nowadays. Hospitability has an educative function. It develops a sense of friendship and comradeship. Hospitability is estimated as one of the main conditions for the relationship between people, as the source of sympathy, mutual respect, understanding and support.
At the lecture, kids looked at the presentation and discussed the subject in the form of a dialogue.
