On 22 December 2020, a staff member of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Rogachyova M. N. held a lecture on “Their names are in the street names of our town” for the students of the 6th grade of Bolgar cadet boarding school. The purpose of the activity was to develop love and respect of children for the history of the small homeland and to educate the sense of patriotism.
At the lecture, kids actively talked about their hometown and its streets, knew many new things about their countrymen, about those whose names are in the street names of the town. At the end of the lesson, schoolchildren with great interest did a crossword puzzle connected with the history of the hometown and compatriots whose names will remain forever in the street names and in the minds of the inhabitants of Bolgar town.
