On 10 December 2020, a research associate of the museum and educational department of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sabirova L. A. held an interactive event on “We’ll create a miracle with our hands” for the students of Bolgar special boarding school for children with limited opportunities. This activity was held in the framework of the Decade of Disabled persons together with specialists of Autonomous State Social Service Institution “Integrated Social Services Centre “Sunrise””.
The event took place in the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization where kids had a tour of the museum exposition. A culmination of the program of the event was a master class in making a souvenir-magnet. Children showed their skills creatively and with great interest painting magnets with their hands. They also actively took part in a quiz and received little commemorative gifts – souvenirs.
Bolgar Museum-Reserve as a guardian of historical and cultural heritage carefully protects material and spiritual values of our history and culture. The history of our ancestors shows how valuable and important the charity is for preserving our national, cultural and spiritual identity.
