On 12 December 2020, winter New Year holidays started in Bolgar. On that day, a special event on “New Year comes to Great Bolgar” took place near the main Christmas tree of Bolgar Museum-Reserve.
Children had fun in a round dance, read New Year’s poems to Father Christmas, sang songs and participated in entertaining competitions. Father Christmas, Snow Maiden and Baba Yaga left bright impressions from the holiday event. This funny activity was really like New Year’s Day!
