On 12 December 2020, a staff member of the department “Museum Street” of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sabirzyanova L.I. held an event on “Constitution is the basic law of the state” for the students of the 5th grade of Bolgar cadet boarding school named after Karpov P. A.
Laws regulate all spheres of life in a law-based state. A set of rules underlying the legislation is written in the constitution. The word “constitution” in translation from Latin language means “arrangement”, that is how the state is organized. Constitution is the basic law of the state, which has the highest legal authority and determines the foundation of government, the relationship between the citizen and the State and the organization of the state authority.
Our constitution was adopted on 12 December 1993. On 3 July 2020, President Putin signed a decree “About the official publication of the amended Constitution of the Russian Federation”.
During the event, kids knew about the emergence of laws and their importance in society and discussed the main articles of the Constitution. At the end of the activity, children received small commemorative gifts.
