On 12 November 2020, a methodist of the museum and educational department of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sagirova L. Sh. held a museum lesson on “Love of Alish” for the students of the 9th grade of Bolgar Comprehensive School №1. The activity was devoted to the International Mother’s Day.
At the event, schoolchildren learned about beloved women who surrounded a writer. Of course, the main woman for everyone is mother. Gaziza apa – a mother of Abdulla Alish – taught him to love books and take care of them, instilled in him love for beauty, taught him literacy, to write and read Arabic graphics because she was a well-educated and well-read woman. She liked to write poems and stories.
The students listened to the poems, which Gaziza apa wrote to her son on front. She waited for him until death. The kids heard and saw a goodbye letter of Abdulla Alish from the Berlin prison addressed to his mother and wife Rokiya hanum. This letter made a lasting impression on the participants of the event.
At the end of the museum lesson, the students wrote letters to their mothers.
