On 6 November 2020, under the rubric “The history of one exhibit” for your attention there are bracelets made of silver, gold and gilding.
This jewel is worn on the wrist. Tatar bracelets are varied in form and artistic ornamentation. In general, there are two types of them – solid and composite. Elderly women usually wore wide bracelets, and young Tatar girls preferred narrow ones. Plate bracelets decorated with gems are distinguished for their richness. Bracelets with engraved texts are also interesting. They are original examples of calligraphy art.
Composite bracelets are characterized with a high artistic value. In the early 19th century, there were bracelets composed of gems and made of small filigree plaques. These jewels were widely spread among urban women.
