On 3 November 2020, within the all-Russian action “Night of Art” an interactive excursion program on “Bolgar is the land of peace” took place in Bolgar Museum-Reserve.
In the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization, “Bolgar khan” met the guests and told about the history of his land. Here in an interactive way tourists became familiar with one of the popular board games of Ancient Bolgar – “Alquerque”.
In the Memorial Sign in honor of adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgars in 922, “Bolgar wise man” familiarized with the adoption of Islam in the Mid-Volga Region. The guests heard a live performance of suras and verses in the hall where there is the biggest printed Koran in the world.
In the Museum of the history of the Assumption Church, “Enoch” met tourists and told about the history of the temple and Uspensky male monastery. He also introduced the guests to the history of the spread of Christianity in the Mid-Volga Region and in the Urals.
An interactive excursion program “Bolgar is the land of peace” ended with familiarity with architectural monuments of XIII-XIV centuries.
