On 2 November 2020, staff members of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization Zarifullina T. G., Kamayeva T. P. and Salnikova V. A. held an information and knowledge event on “The state is united when people stay together moving ahead with great strength!” devoted to National Unity Day. The activity was held for the students of the 4th grades of Bolgar Comprehensive School №1.
Children received information about the significant pages of national history when patriotism and citizenship helped our people to unite and protect the country from invaders in 1612, to overcome the time of powerlessness and strengthen the State of Russia. The students also learned about the people’s heroes Kuzma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky.
At the event, schoolchildren watched a video “If not us, then who?” telling about our great and multinational country, its glorious victories and achievements. The kids actively participated in completing a crossword puzzle “Patriotism”, discussed it and took part in a drawing contest “This is my Motherland!” The event ended with a tour of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization, bright souvenir photos and sweet prizes.
