On 8 October 2020, in Bolgar Museum-Reserve river cruise navigation-2020 ended. On a warm, sunny day of October, a steam-ship with a beautiful name “Moonlight sonata” was the last in this navigation season to dock at the tourist port of Bolgar. Tourists from the ship visited the museums, architectural monuments of XIII-XIV centuries and the complex “White mosque”. They also had an interactive program with a master class and tasting Bolgar tea.
During navigation period of 2020, Bolgar Museum-Reserve took 66 ships from Samara, Moscow, Nizhniy Novgorod, Ekaterinburg, Kazan and Perm. Shipping companies “Infoflot”, “Vodohod”, “Rusvoyage”, “Volga-Ples”, “Rusich”, “Gama” and others annually conclude contracts with Bolgar Museum-Reserve, and now the museum is working with them to receive tourists in 2021.
