In 2020, XI contest of social and cultural projects of a public joint-stock company “LUKOIL” took place in the Republic of Tatarstan. A limited liability company “RITEK” (a part of the group “LUKOIL”) and Charitable Foundation “LUKOIL” hold it in Tatarstan. The major aim of the competition is to increase the efficiency of charitable work of a public joint-stock company “LUKOIL”, to support initiatives of public organizations and population at resolving current social problems on the territories where the company carries out its activities. RITEK develops the best traditions of LUKOIL in the regions.
In all, 872 projects were submitted to the competition commission this year. 155 projects were recognized as winners. Thus, in the nomination “Spirituality and culture” 62 initiatives won, in the nomination “Sport” – 27 projects, in the nomination “Ecology” 29 projects became winners.
In 2020, in honor of the 75th anniversary of the victory, a new nomination “Great feat” was added to the three permanent nominations of the contest – “Spirituality and culture”, “Sport” and “Ecology”. Under this new nomination, were accepted the projects aimed at supporting the Great Patriotic War veterans and workers on the home front, the creation and revival of military-memorial complexes, museums and the patriotic education of young people.
Among the winners were:
– Bolgar Museum-Reserve with the projects: 1. “Let’s save the life of lake Britankino” in the nomination “Ecology”; 2. the festival of national cultures “Bolgar kunaklary – Bolgar invites” in the nomination “Spirituality and culture”.
– Spassky district organization of Tatar republican organization of All-Russian Society for Disabled People – “Association for the Disabled of the Republic of Tatarstan” with the project: 1. Creation of barrier-free sports and play areas for differently abled children “Sport without limitations”.
