On 7 October 2020, a staff member of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Ahundov N. O. held for the guests an event on “Architecture of ancient Bolgar”.
The study of the architecture of Volga Bulgaria is of great importance because this state played a significant role in the development of architectural appearance of modern cities located in its territory. Therefore, without awareness of architecture of Volga Bulgaria we cannot fully understand the advantages of cities in which we live.
Quite valid are great scientists’ indications of enormous significance of architecture in understanding history. Actually, the history of peoples was expressed not only in the development of economy, in political events, in spiritual and artistic activities of people but also in architectural heritage.
During the event, tourists became acquainted with the architecture of ancient Bolgar and other towns of Volga Bulgaria.
