On 2 October 2020, a staff member of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Mukhamedov V. A. held an event on “The teaching profession” for the students of the 6th grades of Bolgar sanatorium-type residential school. The event was devoted to World Teachers’ Day celebrated on 5 October in most countries.
The teaching profession is one of the most honorable and ancient professions in the world. The older generation always tried to give all cumulative knowledge and experience to the future generation so that their offspring could live better and did not make mistakes their ancestors made. Over time, a volume of human knowledge became too “specialized” and one person could not teach everything. As a result, the teaching profession appeared. He was given an honorable duty to pass the wisdom of the past on to the sons. And every year, the importance of this profession is increasing.
During the event, the students knew about the teaching profession and its roots and took part in a little poll on the information they learned.
