On 1 October 2020, a research associate of the museum and educational department of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sabirova L. A. held an interactive event on “Let’s warm a soul with a kind word” for the participants of the club “The University of the Third Age”.
1 October is the day of respect and reverence for the elderly person. It is celebrated all over the world. On that day, it is customary to thank the older generation for their warm hearts and strength given to work, for experience, which they share with the younger generation.
The event took place in the museum “Bolgar tea party” where the guests had an interesting tour, which opened for them the tea traditions of the Volga region. A bright part of the event was a master class on preparation of a sweet national dish “Bal-mai”. After the master class, there was a tea party with funny games, contests, quiz and songs. The guests had loads of fun and great impressions.
