On 26 September 2020, in Bolgar Museum-Reserve the annual educational action “Dictation in the Tatar language-2020” took place. Thirteen staff members of the museum and a director of Bolgar Museum-Reserve R. R. Ziganshin participated in it. The action is aimed at increasing interest in literate spelling, proficiency in the literary Tatar language, self-examination of spelling and grammatical errors and popularization of the profession of philologists and teachers of Tatar. The action was held in order to implement the Government Program of RT “Preservation, study and development of the official languages of the Republic of Tatarstan and other languages in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2020” and in the framework of the government program of RT “Preservation of national identity of Tatar people (2020-2023)”.
Staff members of Bolgar Museum-Reserve wrote online an excerpt from “Siyerchyklar” (“Starlings”) by Tatar writer and journalist Ibrahim Gazi. A professor, Doctor of Philology Foat Galimullin read the text of the dictation by video link from Kazan.
Philologists, professors and doctors of philology of Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication KFU will check the dictation. We wish to all good results!
