On 26 September 2020, on the territory of Bolgar State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve a festival of the medieval battle “Great Bolgar” started for the seventh time. Deputy Head of Spassky municipal district of RT S. I. Tyunyov, a director of Bolgar Museum-Reserve R. R. Ziganshin and Executive Director of the limited liability company “Journey into the past” A. E. Kokurin welcomed all guests at the opening of the festival. They congratulated everybody on this great event and wished the participants of the battles good luck and win, and the audience – to have a good rest and enjoy the beauty of these parts imbued with history.
The program of the event includes the reconstruction of medieval training grounds, dance and music in the spirit of the age, master classes in ancient crafts, platforms of a family vacation, fair of ethnic arts and crafts, archery, evening concert and more. Here everyone can find an interesting activity for himself. There are various competitions, contests and relays for children there.
In the evening, all will have a fire show “Fiery fairy tale” by the show of fire “Genazi”. On 27 September, the festival will be continued.
