On 28 August 2020, in the museum “Suvar” of Bolgar Museum-Reserve an educational-methodical inter-district retreat on the history of the region took place. The seminar on “Touch to Suvar” was held for history teachers of Alkeyevsky municipal district of RT.
For participants of the seminar, the head of the museum “Suvar” Sadrieva N. M. prepared a special program. It included the following: an interactive tour of the museum of history of Suvar – one of the most significant towns of Volga Bulgaria; a tour of the reserve of Russia’s importance “The town of Suvar” – a historical monument of X-XIV centuries; participation in knowledge quests and games “The way of Suvar warrior” and “The way of Suvar amazon”; exchange of experience on the study of the history of the native land.
Among the participants were 14 teachers from Alkeyevsky municipal district of RT led by a methodist of Municipal State Institution “Management of education of Alkeyevsky municipal district of RT” Yarullina R. G. and one of the leading experts on history in Alkeyevsky district, the head of the district association of historians Tikhonov S. Y.
The participants looked at the museum exposition with great interest, took part in an interactive work during the tour, answered questions and tasks. While inspecting Suvar town the guests were delighted with the level of construction mastery of the residents of Suvar who built the most powerful fortress of those times.
History teachers of Alkeyevsky district appreciated the organization and holding the seminar in the museum “Suvar”, which was carried out by Sadrieva N. M. and a museum curator Pugachyova V. A.
