Kids visited the museum of Abdulla Alish where they became acquainted with the life and works of children’s author Abdulla Alish – a poet of Tatar people. Besides poetry, he left the example of courage and heroism. Without knowing literacy, Abdulla knew entire pages by heart and pretended he read running his fingers along the lines of favorite books. After graduating from the seven-year school Alish entered Pedagogical College from which he transferred to land surveying college. In 1941, he was called to active duty. We can list fascist camps scattered in Eastern Europe where ruthless fate threw captured Alish. Camps in Czechia, Poland, Wustrau near Berlin. On 25 August 1944, Abdulla Alish was executed in Berlin.
The event was aimed to educate children to respect the older generation and develop a sense of pride in the heroic past of the writer Abdulla Alish in the years of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
