Safina and staff members of Bolgar Museum-Reserve took part in ceremonial opening of the exhibition. G. R. Mingazova and L. N. Safina welcomed the guests. O. P. Shilovsky described in detail the exhibits of this exposition.
The purpose of the exhibition is popularization of knowledge about one of the most beautiful gems – Brazilian agate. The main characteristic of the collection is the uniqueness of images of these stones and an extraordinary size of cuts of agates.
Visitors of the exhibit met with the astonishing beauty of this wonderful gem and got a lot of positive emotions, especially since according to one version of interpretation of the name of a stone, “agate” means “happy, magic”. The exhibition gave an opportunity to plunge into a wonderful world presented by nature itself.
The exhibit will last until 18 October 2020.
