On 19 August 2020, a research associate of the museum and education department of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Krivosheyeva S. V. held for the guests of the museum an interactive event on “Secrecy of ancient Bolgar” in the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization.
At first, the participants had a tour of the central part of Bolgar town. In the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization, in an interactive and playful way adults and children revealed for themselves the secrecy of ancient Bolgar with the help of unique archaeological artifacts. The guests heard the story about Bulgar boots, knew what weapon was called “chesnok” and what a “horos” is. They also learned about the functions of these things. The participants of the event were surprised to learn from which item the word “kopusha” (slowpoke) appeared.
This event for the visitors was enlightening, interesting and fascinating way of family vacation.
