On 26 July 2020, a staff member of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Mukhamedov V. A. held an event on “We need ships of this kind” for the visitors of the museum.
Our country has many glorious pages in its history. It so happened that the country spent in wars a significant part of its historical trajectory. Our soldiers showed many times that they were some of the best fighters in the world. Certainly, the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 also showed this. But in view of our geographical position, land armed forces were far more important for the state. That is why it is the less said about the victories of our sailors and the fleet. We should talk more about sea victories to remember the feats of sailors, midshipmen and officers who also fought and shed their blood for the homeland.
During the event, the guests became familiar with the history of emergence of the Russian Navy. They learned a lot about a glorious path of our sailors and the most important historic events connected with the actions of the Navy.
