On 23 June 2020, a costume meeting of a cruise ship “Aleksey Tolstoy” of a travel agency “Ros-Voyage” from Samara took place on the river station of Bolgar Museum-Reserve. This ship opened the 2020 season of cruise navigation. An excursion program with a visit of Gabdrakhman’s well and Museums Street was organized for 119 tourists from the ship. They had a tour of the museum of “The nobility of Spassky uyezd” where “the lady of the house – a noblewoman” met and welcomed the guests. The visitors knew about famous noble families, their bloodlines and their contribution to the development of the uyezd. “A local fisher” met the guests in the museum “The town on the river” where they learnt about the history of the old town of Spassk and became familiar with the exposition of the museum. In the museum of Abdulla Alish, not only historical information about our famous countryman was demonstrated but also household items of that period did not leave the tourists indifferent. The guests had an excursion of the museum of “Bolgar tea party” and saw a collection of samovars, knew about the emergence of their production and the history of tea ceremonies of different peoples living in our republic. On the territory of the museum, a “custodian of traditions and customs” held a master class “Bal-mai” for the visitors. We hope that the guests were satisfied with the meeting on Bolgar land.
