On 12 June 2020, a staff member of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Bitunova Y. A. held an event on the theme “Our homeland” back to back with Russia Day. On 12 June, our country celebrates an official government holiday – Russia Day. It is celebrated annually on the day of the signing of the Declaration of Independence of the Russian Federation. During the event, the audience received information about the holiday and state symbols.
On this day, we remember the centuries-old history of Russia, a difficult and heroic way of its formation and development and feats of our parents and grandparents. We have much to be proud of. A country, which they were trying to conquer from ancient times until now, endured all misery and suffering. This holiday became the day of freedom, civil peace and understanding of all residents of the state on the basis of the law and justice. Russia Day is celebrated by all who cherishes and understands our common values: pride for the country, willingness to work for its prosperity, love for the land and respect for its history.
