On 11 June 2020, the head of museum and educational department of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Vagapov R. Z. held an event entitled “Russia is our common home” in the museum “The town on the river”.
During the event, the audience became acquainted with ethnic and religious diversity of the Volga region – a wonderful and very interesting part of Russia. Lovers of Russian history had a short excursion into the county town of Spassk of Kazan Governorate and knew about its close link with the history of ancient town of Bolgar.
The event coincides with an important state holiday of the Russian Federation – Russia Day. This holiday is now increasingly patriotic. It is becoming a symbol of national unity and common responsibility for the present and future of our homeland.
