On 5 March 2020, staff members of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Glavnova V. N. and Galimullina N. R held a lecture on “My small homeland – the Republic of Tatarstan” for the students of Bolgar special boarding school for children with limited opportunities. The purpose of the lesson was to educate the children’s feeling of pride for their Motherland, love for the native land and respect for nature.
Tatarstan is a multinational Republic. Representatives of more than 173 nationalities live here in the spirit of friendship and harmony. Our land is a part of a big and wonderful country that needed to be maintained for the next generations because a care for a native soil is a care for Motherland.
At the lecture, the kids saw a presentation about the small homeland and became acquainted with the history of the native land, traditions and customs of peoples living in the republic. The students actively answered the questions of a quiz, fulfilled a practical task, and did puzzles with images of nature of Tatarstan and its symbols.
