On 3 March 2020, staff members of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Glavnova V. N. and Rogachyova M. N. held a knowledge event on “Fairytales of Abdulla Alish” for the children of Bolgar kindergarten “Kolosok”. This activity was devoted to the World Writer’s Day.
Tatar children’s writer and poet Abdulla Alish wrote poems, stories, but he was best at fairytales. He loved children very much and always got along with them. It was love to kids that led him to literature. Alish often visited kindergartens and schools where everyone knew and loved him. Children with a great interest listened to different stories he told. Alish said, “All my creativity I want to dedicate to children”. Kids called him “Fabulous man”. Fairytales of Alish call children to be friends, to get along with each other and be benevolent, to listen to and respect older people, to see good and bad things in life and love labor.
At the event, children became acquainted with a presentation about the life and creativity of Alish, learned a biography of the children’s writer and saw his books. During the lesson, the kids got better acquainted with the fairytales of Abdulla Alish, learned to discuss, ask questions and answer them properly, exactly and creatively. They took part in a quiz with pleasure, recognized the names of fairytales using slides, played riddle games according to the works by the writer and did puzzles with the images of stories’ heroes. All the participants of the event received small presents.
