On 27 February 2020, a Senior Researcher of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Vagapov R. M. held a meeting with the students of the 8th grade of Bolgar Comprehensive School №2. The event was devoted to the 100th anniversary of founding of Tatar ASSR.
The children saw a painting “Bulgarian civilization”, which visited 16 regions of Eurasia as a part of exhibition. 150 artists from Tatarstan, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area, Bashkortostan, Chuvashia and other regions took part in the exhibit.
The students also listened to a lecture on “Formation of Tatar ASSR”. At the end of the meeting, the kids became acquainted with a traditional Russian musical instrument – balalaika, which Vagapov R. M. used for playing folk melodies.
