December 20, 2019 employees of the Department of excursions of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve Salimova G. I. and Gaifutdinova O. A. for students of grade 7 GBOU “Bulgarian sanatorium boarding school” held an informative lecture on “Christmas toy”.
Until the XVIII century, the New year was celebrated on September 1, but was moved to winter time-on January 1 by decree of Tsar Peter the Great. He also ordered that the spruce became the main new year tree. The tradition of decorating the Christmas tree in the new year holidays is rooted deep in history.
During the lesson, the children listened attentively to the material of the lecture and made with their own hands unusual Christmas toys made of felt, cotton wool and beautiful beads. Each toy was distinguished by its originality, uniqueness and unusual approach in its manufacture. Each child showed his resourcefulness and individuality.
The guys were very happy with the results of their work – they tried so hard! It was very nice to see the happy faces of the children, because they give us new strength and inspiration to work.
