16 December 2019 at the Museum “Bulgarian tea party” for pupils of 3-4 classes GBOO “Bulgarian sanatorium boarding school” Spassky municipal district of Tatarstan employee of the organization Department of the city of BGIAMZ Rogacheva M. N. in an interactive form held information and educational event “traditions of Bulgarian tea party” to mark the International tea day, which is celebrated on December 15. The purpose of this event is to expand the historical knowledge of children, awakening their interest in the traditions of their people, the development of understanding, respect and love for the culture of their native land.
The Bulgarian tea drinking Museum introduces the traditions of tea drinking of the Volga region peoples, especially the Russian and Tatar people prevailing in our Republic. Tea drinking has always characterized the good beginnings of the culture of these peoples and the peculiarities of its character. Tea drinking became a school of good manners, where they learned to receive guests and treat them, to behave beautifully at the table. It was an event of a deeply family nature, though open to guests.
During the event, children learned about the traditions of tea drinking of the peoples living in their native Republic, heard old Russian and Tatar Proverbs about the samovar and tea drinking, got acquainted with the interesting collection of samovars of the Museum. Children in a game form studied the device of a samovar, learned about purpose and application of the subjects connected with tea party, and also actively collected pictures-puzzles, solved riddles of a quiz on a tea party theme. At the end of the event, all participants tasted traditional Russian treat for tea – bagels and received small prizes.
