On December 6, 2019, a researcher of the Department of Museum and educational activities of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve Krivosheeva S. V. for students of the 8th grade of the BULGARIAN sanatorium boarding school, an information and educational lesson “Children of the great Patriotic war” was held, dedicated to the day of heroes of the Fatherland.
The purpose of this event is the formation of children’s civil position in relation to the historical past of our country, the education of respect and loyalty to their Fatherland, the formation of readiness to perform civic duty to protect its interests and the replenishment of knowledge on the history of Russia.
At this event, students heard about those whose childhood and youth fell on these harsh years. The war deprived them of their usual childhood and youth. Not graduating from school, leaving aside the favorite children’s fun and games, they grew up early. Children and teenagers took up arms, became brave scouts, snipers, pilots, radio operators, machine gunners and nurses, stood up to the machines, replacing their fathers.
At the end of the event, a quiz was held, where children showed their knowledge and erudition.
