On November 27, 2019, researcher of the Department of organization of excursions of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve Khramova G. K. for students of the 1st grade of the BULGARIAN sanatorium boarding school held a lecture on “the Great Bulgarian-UNESCO world heritage site”.
In 2010, the implementation of the Complex project “Cultural heritage – island-town Sviyazhsk and Ancient Bolgar”, in which great importance is given to the creation of Museum and tourist infrastructure, began. During this time, three important museums were built: the Museum of Bulgarian civilization, a Memorial sign in honor of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgarians in 922, The Museum “house of the physician”, a unique exposition – “The history of the assumption Church” in the architectural monument of the XVIII century. Another object that attracts the attention of visitors with its unique architecture and surrounding landscape was the complex “White mosque”. Since 2016, there is a new tourist pier, which allows you to take ships of different classes.
The main event was the inclusion of the Bulgarian historical and archaeological complex In the UNESCO world heritage list in 2014. This was a recognition of the importance of the Bulgarian at the International level, which affected the growth of attendance of the Museum-reserve.
Students listened attentively to the report and watched the presentation, then talked animatedly and asked a lot of questions. In conclusion, it was concluded that the staff of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve is successfully working to preserve the historical and cultural heritage of Bulgarians and its popularization. The guys expressed a great desire to visit the Museum-reserve in the near future.
