Bolgar is represented at the UNESCO international conference ” Intercultural and interreligious dialogue on the Silk road»
From 28 to 29 September, the international conference “Intercultural and interreligious dialogue on the Silk road: religious influence on cultural heritage sites”was held in Hamadan, Islamic Republic of Iran. The conference was organized by the UNESCO Cluster office in Tehran and the Sector of social and humanitarian Sciences of UNESCO headquarters in cooperation with the national Commission of Iran for UNESCO on the sidelines of the 6th meeting of the Interstate coordinating Committee for the nomination of the silk road to the world heritage List.
The conference participants discussed the problems of management and sustainable development of cultural heritage sites with religious significance on the silk road. The experience of the Bulgarian historical and archaeological complex in this area was presented by the employee of the Museum-reserve Aituganova N. L.
