September 24, 2019 on the basis of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve held a seminar “from the experience of thematic museums of the Republic of Tatarstan” for employees of municipal museums of the Republic of Mari El.
A solemn meeting of the guests took place at the entrance to the Museum of Bulgarian civilization, where they were greeted by Khan and met by girls in national costumes with chak-chak and loaf. The participants of the seminar had a tour of the Museum of Bulgarian civilization, where they were presented numerous exhibits from the funds of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve, and they were able to learn the history of the people and state of Volga Bulgaria, its formation and development, and, of course, they learned the history of the city of Bulgaria. There was also an interactive event with a presentation of medieval Board games. After that, the seminar participants visited the Koran Museum, where the world’s largest printed Koran was presented to their eyes. There they learned a lot about the origin of Islam, about the cultural characteristics of the people of Volga Bulgaria, associated with the arrival of Islam in the Volga region in 922. Next, a round table was held on the theme ” Problems of museums to preserve cultural heritage in the modern world.” The event began with a welcoming speech of the Deputy. Director of development BGIAMZ Safina L. N. Also acted as Deputy Director for science BGIAMZ Faskhutdinov, A. N. and Deputy Director on scientific work of “the National Museum of RME for them. At the end of the round table, good wishes and gifts were exchanged between the delegates from the Republic of Mari El and the Bulgarian Museum-reserve. Then the participants visited the architectural monuments of XIII-XIV centuries and the complex “White mosque”.
